Adoption: Goals & Objectives

As of September 4, 2024, the Our Boone County 2045 Goals & Objectives were adopted by all four legislative bodies including, Florence, Union, Walton, and Boone County Fiscal Court.

A Snapshot of Boone County

The Comprehensive Plan project includes a look at the existing conditions of Boone County today in 2024, including who we are and where we live.

Future Land Use

In each Comprehensive Plan update, a Future Land Use Map is produced to indicate projected future land uses for a particular area, however, the area may not be ready for development until certain infrastructure is in place or another area develops first.
